This month I would like to share my ten favorite photos that I took of my son during this last season of Spring Baseball here in our new town.  I always photograph most all of the games and give those images to the parents.  It's a win-win-WIN for all of us.  I get to use my gift to bless others.  They get photos of their child playing sports.  AND I have something to do to distract my nerves during the tense moments!

I know a lot of these aren't necessarily action images.  I can't help it - my favorite images are always going to be those with more dramatic light.  The ball fields here in Virginia that our county uses were either in full mid day sun for us, or in complete shade.  It was an interesting artistic experiment for me for sure.

Without further ado, my ten favorite Baseball photos of my (not so little) Boy.

It was a Sunday on one of the earliest spring days.  My son had been begging to go fishing and so, we did at our neighborhood pond.  Unfortunately this day the fish weren't biting.  The one fish we did catch swallowed the hook whole.  Poor thing.  There was nothing else we could do for him.

The Lady has such a good attitude about our adventures.  She played with the cup of worms for a while and then she went to pick the fresh, new leaves.

Please visit one of my favorite photographer friends, Katie Brenkert, to complete the circle.  I met Katie last April (A year ago!) with the Bloom Forum retreat in California and she really is one of my very, very favorite photographers. Something happens when you meet people in person, and it's so special. I love seeing life through her eye. *

This month I wanted to show my ten (okay, so there's more) favorite images from our spring break trip to New York City.

My children absolutely freaked out at the Statue of Liberty.  Not because of the historical significance, but because of the GRASS.  It had been three days and they were suffering from immense grass withdrawal.  Afterward, we found another patch of grass back on NYC and they took an hour to run, chase, and practice cartwheels.  Suffice it to say that while we enjoy our trips into cities, we are most assuredly NOT city folk.
